Lambskin comforter specially designed to fit in a stroller or car seat providing a warm and comfortable spot for baby's journey. Color: Oaten. Dimensions: 29 inches L; 13 inches W ; 1.2 inches H. Bowron selects lambs from the finest flocks of Australia's outback. The unique 42 step tanning method has been refined over the past 100 years. The raw skins are still expertly trimmed, machined and hand washed before the tanning commences. The tanned fleece is dried, combed by machine then by hand and finally polished to enhance the natural luster of the Sheep wool.Bowron recommends machine or hand wash in cold or warm water (water not to exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit) using a mild detergent. Pure castile, biodegradable camp soaps or Eucalan Wool wash is recommended. Do not use Woolite or laundry detergents such as Tide. Line dry or flat and stretch to shape while damp. For best results, the sheepskin should be brushed with a wire brush when wet, when damp and then when dry. Do not tumble dry your sheepskin. Do not iron or bleach the Sheepskin. Bowron sheepskin may also be dry cleaned using either white spirits, hydrocarbon or perchlorethylene.
Your carefully selected Bowron sheepskin may have been tightly packaged for the journey home and so the wool may appear flattened. Wool fibers are very resilient and will bounce back to their original springy appearance. A vigorous shake will help restore the soft, fluffy appearance of the wool.
